Carrie van Heyst
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Carrie van Heyst is VHG's strategic leader and day-to-day operations lead. She directs the company's guiding vision while providing operational expertise across all fields of management. Ms. van Heyst contributes content direction to the wide range of creative projects initiated by the company while maintaining budget accountability. She works with the senior development staff to ensure integrity in the recruitment of projects while bringing agility to the team. She maintains VHG's client relations domestically and overseas, fostering a hands-on approach from genesis to delivery of projects. She has been a driver behind such VHG events as the Microsoft CEO Summit, TIME magazine's Future of Life Summit, and the TIME/ABC News Summit on Obesity. Prior to joining VHG, Ms. van Heyst worked with award-winning teams involved in high-end R & D for AT&T Bell Labs Advanced Technologies, and Borland International.

Della van Heyst, VHG's founder and chief ambassador, has conducted more than 400 conferences worldwide. In 1995, she pioneered FORTUNE magazine's Internet strategy conferences. Since then, VHG has managed flagship CEO programs for FORTUNE, including the FORTUNE Global Forum, as well as its CIO, CFO and IT forums. Ms. van Heyst has spearheaded such trendsetting meetings as Aspen Brainstorm, the Arab World Media Summit, and numerous Cisco CEO and CIO innovation conferences. Prior to founding VHG, she launched InfoWorld's CTO Summit and created technology summits for the board of directors of the National Association of Television Broadcasters. She also launched the first executive education courses at Stanford University. At the request of the United States Information Agency, Ms. van Heyst has taught seminars on new market economy practices in Eastern Europe. She also serves as a consultant to the television, publishing, and technology industries.
